Responding to Fraud and Scams

Primo is serious about protecting our customers from the risk of fraud whenever possible.

Online fraud can happen when someone can gather enough information to pretend that they are you. Below is information on what to do if you think you have been scammed by a phone call or text.

What to do first:

  1. Contact your bank – let them know that you may have been scammed
  2. Change your passwords

If you have lost money or property:

  1. Contact he police and make a formal complaint
  2. Contact us by filling out this form or calling us on 0800 123 774

Have you received a Text asking you to confirm that you want to move your mobile number to another provider?

This is sometimes called ‘porting fraud.’ If you did not request your mobile phone plan to be moved to another provider, then contact your bank immediately and let them know that your information has been compromised. Then contact Primo to get the move to another provider cancelled.

If you are selling your phone, do a factory reset to remove all your personal information.

This is why in 2023, we put on the event – Primo presents NIGEL LATTA LIVE: What the scam is going on?

Here are some tips to help you avoid being a target for fraudsters.
